Department of Posts, Govt of India is going to recruit Postal
Assistants and Sorting Assistants for the year 2011 and 2012. The last
PA & SA Examination was held on 2010 so in this year candidates will

Name of the Vacancies- Postal Assistants (PA), Sorting Assistants (SA), PA MMS, PA RLO and PA Foreign Post.Qualification Needed- 10+2 passed candidates. (In the Upcoming Notification you will get all details regarding qualification needed.).

Application Type- Offline (Through OMR Application which will be provided by M/S CMC Ltd).
Salary- Rs.5200- Rs.20200 (Grade Pay Rs.2400).
Last Date of Application- The full notification will be published in various regional newspapers on 11th August 2012 and the last date will be 25th September 2012. (Different States may issue different notifications after 11th August 2012).
Cost of the Application Form- Rs.50
(Rs.200 will be paid towards Examination fees through ACG 67/ UCR in any post
office before 25th September 2012).
The Applicants will not be submitting any testimonials/
certificates along with OMR AFKs. Hence, they are allowed provisionally based
on declaration furnished by them. Therefore, at the time of actual appointment
of the selected candidates, every care is required to be token for
verification of certificates of Educational qualification, Caste, age concession
for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen, details of examination fee paid and character
and antecedents. ln the event of finding any incorrect or false information, the
candidature selection of the candidate will be cancelled.
